North Atlantic Aerosol and Marine Ecosystems Study blog book

This book is a collection of blog posts detailing daily life at sea written by scientists and crew during three of the four NAAMES field campaigns. For nearly a month at a time, scientists, post-docs, graduate students, and technicians packed up, shipped, and reassembled their research labs on board the R/V Atlantis in order to answer unresolved questions regarding the phytoplankton annual cycle and its role in the regulation of aerosol and cloud production. Unlike the polished manuscripts published months after field work has ended, the following pages are a raw and candid view into the inner workings of a large-scale cross-disciplinary NASA Earth Venture Suborbital field campaign.
